Welcome to our July 2025 Newsletter
July has been a busy month for SHH-UK. We’ve had a Board of Trustees meeting and held our first team meeting with all our volunteers and trustees invited.
|
Following the success of our support group for healthcare workers with cognitive dysfunction and feedback from service users we are currently recruiting moderators to run additional online support groups. We hope to get these set up by the autumn. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more details.
|
Following feedback from some of our service users we are working to make the information on our website easier to access. This is a work in progress. Keep an eye out for changes. Please email us on info@shh-uk.org if you have any feedback or ideas.

We’ve heard from a few people that they’re unsure what we’re aiming to do as a charity. In the light of this we’re creating an about us page for the website (coming soon) as well as creating an infographic setting out our aims (see below).

Our #Safe Air4All Campaign
Help Us Make the Invisible Risk Visible – Support our #SafeAir4All Campaign
Poor indoor air quality in healthcare settings puts patients and staff at unnecessary risk of airborne infections such as COVID-19. Our #SafeAir4All campaign calls for urgent improvements in ventilation, filtration and monitoring of air across the NHS.
|
We’re raising awareness, sharing the evidence and encouraging our supporters to take action by:
|
- Writing to their MP
- Putting up posters in healthcare settings
- Recording CO2 readings in healthcare settings
- Telling us their infection prevention and control stories
|
Together we can campaign for safer air and better protection for healthcare workers and patients alike.
