One of the strategies we recommend in our position statement on why indoor air quality in healthcare settings matters is the use of HEPA (Highly Efficient Particle Air Filter) filters.

If you’re not sure how air purifiers help with indoor air quality read this leaflet from the Corsi-Rosenthal Foundation UK.

The leaflet concludes that air purifiers with HEPA filters & high CADR (clean air delivery rate) can trap aerosols, reducing COVID spread when paired with ventilation and masks.
