This article highlights that people with Long Covid and ME/CFS commonly experience difficulties regulating body temperature and that heat can worsen symptoms, particularly where orthostatic intolerance or autonomic dysfunction are present. Practical measures include reducing activity, staying hydrated, avoiding peak heat, keeping living spaces cool and recognising the early signs of heat-related illness.
