Covid is Airborne: You’re breathing it in
A powerful short video explaining how COVID spreads through the air like smoke, highlighting why ventilation, clean air and respiratory protection matter.
@Starseeker1986 writes up turning pain into purpose and during Long Covid Awareness Month (March 2026) is fundraising for Supporting Healthcare Heroes UK.
March 17th marks four years since a single Covid infection changed my life forever.
Today, I live with more than seven complex chronic conditions. I am largely housebound and restricted to just ten foods and water due to severe anaphylaxis. My days are spent fighting for my health, navigating the benefits system, and trying to ensure the truth about Long Covid is heard.
Living with Long Covid has taken so much, but in the little “precious time” I have each day, I try to create something meaningful. I pour my energy into making handmade Long Covid Awareness and HOPE jewellery pieces. Each one represents my voice, and the voices of many others living with the long-term consequences of Covid.

Examples of items available from Amore Designs can be seen above.
Every bracelet and necklace is designed as a symbol of our community’s:
These pieces are more than jewellery – they are a reminder that people living with Long Covid are still here, still fighting, and still deserving to be seen and heard.
By wearing or sharing these pieces, you are helping to advocate for:
Raising awareness matters. The more visible our stories are, the harder they are to ignore.
For every piece sold, £1 is donated to Supporting Healthcare Heroes UK, a charity that supports healthcare workers living with Long Covid and advocates for safer healthcare environments.
